Why
Exoria Travel
Efficient, Reliable, and Scalable

How longing became a mission
My name is Petra.
And I believe that traveling can be more than just moving from one place to another.
Travel touches us, changes us, and reminds us who we are.
Maybe you know this feeling: You see pictures of faraway countries – of colorful, bustling markets, of coastlines and exotic, impressive landscapes. You want to go, you want to feel, you want to experience.
But your life keeps you tied down. Friends start families. Others build houses. Travel plans get lost between obligations, common sense, and a “later” that is postponed too often.
And sometimes you ask yourself: Was that all there was?
That's how I felt.
For a long time.

The moment of clarity
It was an ordinary evening, like so many others before. My kitchen. A cup of tea, long since cold. An open laptop.
Vietnam. Images of water, light, and life, and I felt movement, letting go, departure, something that didn't cause a spectacle inside me, but offered a glimpse of real life. Images of Halong, Hanoi, and Saigon. Of floating markets at dawn.
Suddenly, I knew with absolute clarity: I want to be there.
Not sometime. Now.
But there was this quiet question: Do I really want to travel alone? Traveling alone didn't feel right to me, not the way I had imagined it.
I didn't just want to see – I wanted to share. I wanted to experience, discuss, and enjoy these impressions with other like-minded people.
And for the first time, I thought: Maybe I'm not alone in this.

The trip that changed everything
I decided on a classic group tour. I was excited and couldn't wait.
But unfortunately, it didn't quite turn out the way I had imagined.
One item on the itinerary followed another.
Bus. Camera. Move on.
One attraction followed another, leaving hardly any time to enjoy and consciously take in anything.
“Vietnam in seven days.”
At the end of the trip, I couldn't really remember everything I had seen. It was too much for so few days.
At that moment, I realized:
I now knew exactly how I didn't want to travel.

Why I founded Exoria Travel
I wanted to create trips for people who are looking for more than just highlights.
Trips that allow time to really experience and enjoy the landscape, the markets, the sights. Trips that you still remember at the end.
